Ready Set Embrace!
TO THE READER
I hope this blog post finds you well.
Typically, at the home stretch of the year, we as people tend to do one or two things. Become complacent and wait for the next year to set resolutions, vision boards, and/or prayers. Or we give everything we've got in the last few months to conclude the year with goals we’ve set out from the beginning.
Today, I want to pray and challenge our hearts. As the year concludes, I pray we actively pursue what the Lord is challenging us to do. My main challenge is stepping outside my comfort zone to consistently create content—both writing blogs and vlogging for Win Yourself Over, even though I don’t see myself as a content creator. Writing should be simple, but I often feel blocked. Vlogging also feels intimidating, both in terms of where to film and what stories to share. The Lord is clearly prompting me to follow through, even though I feel awkward and uncertain. Yet this is what He is asking me to focus on for the remainder of 2025. My prayer is that you also embrace what the Lord is calling you to, even if it feels uncomfortable.
So I pray for us.
I pray that the Lord clarifies the space to which He is calling us. Regardless of whether it involves a task, conversation, career development, or entrepreneurial venture, may that space be established to allow us to take meaningful action. I ask that not only be the space defined, but also be divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit. May creativity and innovation be ignited by fresh ideas, enabling us to effectively manage those concepts.
I pray for our hope. Whatever we are hoping for in Christ Jesus, that the Holy Spirit gives us strategies on how to bring such hopes and make them our reality. I ask that the guidance of the Holy Spirit become so profound that He assists us in crafting brilliant plans and executing them effectively.
I pray that whatever we are searching for, we recognize its emergence through the challenges that the Lord has placed before us in these past few months. I pray we make the final quarter of the year so sacred and so holy that He grants us the opportunity to witness the fruits of His work. May we consistently observe the growth of what Jesus is cultivating, even when it may not yet be the time for harvest.
To the woman whose heart is ready for marriage, covenant, and love ﹣may the Lord bless you, keep you, make His face shine towards you, and give you peace.
To the woman whose womb is awaiting conception ﹣ may the Lord touch you and produce fruitfulness.
To the woman with a business plan and hiding in the shadows ﹣may the Lord give you courage to step out on faith.
Lastly, to the woman ready to take on adventure ﹣may the Lord give you strength and endurance.
These things we pray in Jesus name, amen
Love, Kevonna 🌻
