Time Restored
To The Reader
There is an old saying, “April showers bring May flowers,” which reminds me of a beautiful rhythm and dance with nature. The frequent rain in April nurtures blooming flowers in the months that follow, creating stunning photo ops that my eyes seem to capture. Although this beautiful rhythm produces blooming flowers, it most certainly highlights the principle of cause and effect. The thing about cause and effect is that both sides are needed to move in sequence.
In the scriptures, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 speaks about appointed times for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens. For example, in verse two it reads, “a time to plant and a time to uproot.” If one plants, the expectation is to receive a harvest from what one is planting. When one decides to uproot, it’s because that season has come to an end, and the expectation is to start preparing for another.
Time itself is a sequence that has a rhythm. When time is halted or even delayed, it disrupts the natural flow of harvesting or even disturbs predestined outcomes. Look at the seasons that move in rhythm. In the Fall, shedding takes place. In the Winter, nature becomes barren and lies dormant. With Spring, life awakens, renewal happens, and blooming takes place. All while Summer lives in the growth of it all. For each season to respond to its life cycle, it means the Earth needs to tilt and orbit around the Sun.
When we examine Spring, we see how nature responds to time through growth and renewal. However, if time is halted and/or delayed, Spring’s natural outcome is interrupted, causing a breakdown in our cause and effect. Even more so, restricts what it is predestined to produce. It would make the sequence of time one-sided. Imagine farmers being stuck in a time frame of only planting. Year after year, they only seem to plant because conditions never produce a reaping or a harvest. Or imagine if we applied this to our lives: getting stuck in a season of planting, never reaching the harvest, repeating cycles without progress.
What happens when the enemy plans to make our time one-sided? To keep us in one season and never experience the next. Year after year, decade after decade, the same cycles come into repeat like clockwork.
It’s like noticing all the planting you have been doing, but seeing little to no results. Changing lifestyle habits, educating yourself on topics related to your home or business, making wiser decisions, or trying new things to get out of your comfort zone. From all the planting, you’ve noticed some things might have changed or even sprouted. For example, your distaste for being in certain environments has grown, but a mindset shift to separate from it hasn’t registered yet. Though it may seem like progress is being made, the results often don't reflect the effort you've put in. Your growth feels stagnant, and it appears that everything remains unchanged despite the hard work you put in.
What if the attack was to always keep you in a planting season, but harvest time wouldn’t come? What if the attack was to keep you frustrated with yourself and with God? That no matter what you’ve done or how hard you’ve tried to do life differently, your reaping seemed to take a hit. That you’ve had to start over more ways than one, rather than build from your last harvest.
In this blog post, my heart is to pray for anyone who may feel like they are in this cycle. My prayer is for Jesus to restore your time to its original state. That you are brought back to moving in sequence as you should. My prayer is that you experience both aspects of life that are meant to mature you and groom you. That you experience both the planting and the harvest.
As we pray...
Father, we thank you for being the restorer. We thank you for the access to restoration. Father, we thank you for exposing the enemy's plan of cycles and delayed time. We thank you for the grace to build up the momentum to complete life in Your timing and in Your will.
Father, I pray for the reader/receiver of this blog post and prayer. I ask that You restore their time to its original state. Father, let them experience a Harvest like no other. May this restored time last them for many years to come even throughout generations. Father, we direct in the correct cycle You would have for them to be living in for 2026. Let time be more fruitful and productive than ever before.
For the tears and sorrow that were sown within cycles, let them experience a harvest of laughter like never before. Father, in Your scriptures it says that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Father, restore an era of the morning. That laughter and joy operate to the fullest. I pray they experience the joy of how You choose to delight in them. Let them know that all the crying that was done in the secret place or in their planting was heard and not sown in vain.
Even the tears they muzzled to not utter any murmurs or complaints, let this restored time grant them adventures, new ideas, spontaneous-joyful actions. Let this be a time of true celebration.
For where there was pain sown and a sacrifice, yet it was a benefit to others, I pray for you to restore their time to receive, love, affection, acknowledgment, joy, and comfort in Your Son Jesus' name.
Heavenly Father, please perform a complete healing—emotionally and physically—within them. We ask for an increase in their finances, especially regarding any money they have lent or gifts they have given to those in need. Restore that harvest in the way You wish for it to display in their lives. We express our gratitude for Your goodness and mercy. Thank you for the realignment, for dismantling the works of the enemy, and for restoring time according to Your divine plan for these wonderful individuals. We honor You and give You glory in Jesus' name.
Amen!
With Love, Kevonna
